Job Description: Sales Manager – Car Loans
Location: Mumbai
Organization: Private Bank


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:

    • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for car loans in the assigned region.
    • Develop and implement strategies to expand the customer base and increase market share.
    • Build and maintain relationships with car dealerships, DSAs (Direct Selling Agents), and other channel partners to drive loan business.
  2. Team Management:

    • Lead, motivate, and guide a team of sales executives to achieve their individual and collective targets.
    • Provide regular training and support to enhance the team’s product knowledge and sales techniques.
  3. Market Analysis and Strategy:

    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
    • Recommend and execute strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
  4. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer queries and resolving issues promptly.
    • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
  5. Compliance and Documentation:

    • Ensure adherence to all internal and external regulatory guidelines during the loan process.
    • Supervise the accurate and timely completion of all required documentation.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate (mandatory); MBA in Finance/Marketing preferred.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of sales experience in the car loans segment, preferably with a bank or NBFC.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of car loan products and the lending process.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to manage teams and deliver results under pressure.
    • Proficiency in using CRM tools and MS Office.
